NailHandbook is a nail guide site run from Savannah, GA. I write the guides, I wear-test them, and I put them online for anyone to read. Using this site means you are okay with the terms below. They are boring but short, and I tried to keep them in plain English instead of lawyer soup. If you do not agree with them, that is fine, but then this is not the site for you.
What this site is
Everything here is nail information: application walkthroughs, wear-test numbers, removal steps, product notes, and opinions formed over eleven years behind the chair. I log the wear days and time the soak-offs myself before anything gets published. That is the whole point of the site. The general rule behind this: the content is offered for general information and personal use, and you read it and use it at your own discretion.
What this site is not
I am a licensed nail tech, not a doctor. On my own floor, the second a nail looks like it has a fungus, an infection, an ingrown edge, or a real injury, I stop and send that person to someone qualified. This site works the same way. Nothing here is medical, dental, or professional health advice, and nothing here is meant to diagnose or treat anything. The general rule: this content does not replace advice from a qualified professional, and you should not treat it as if it does. If something on your hands looks wrong, see a pro.
Who owns the text and images
I write the words and I shoot or commission the photos, so the text, guides, wear logs, and images on NailHandbook belong to me unless a source is credited otherwise. You are welcome to read them, link to them, and quote a short bit with a credit back to the page. Under normal copyright rules, that means you may not copy a guide wholesale, republish my photos, or feed the content into your own site or product as if you made it. Ask first through the contact form if you want to use more than a quote.
Acceptable use
Use the site the normal way: read it, share links, follow the steps on your own nails. What is not okay is the stuff that wrecks a site for everyone else. The general rule: do not use NailHandbook for anything unlawful, do not try to break, scrape, or overload it, do not strip the credits off the content, and do not post or send anything abusive through the forms. If you are unsure whether something is fine, it probably is, but you can always ask.
